The new building will be connected to an independent air handling supply system. For this purpose, a dedicated ventilation center will be installed in the new building. The air supply will be provided according to the requirements of the respective usage areas. Particular attention must be paid to the requirements of the central emergency department, the training areas, the administrative areas, and the rented practice spaces. The execution of connection works must take into special consideration the ongoing hospital operations and be carried out in close coordination with the client, the operator, and the specialist planners. The required air handling systems include supply and exhaust air provisions for the different usage areas, including the necessary air treatment, air distribution, as well as control and shut-off devices.
