TENDER DESCRIPTION
The subject of the tender is civil engineering, earthworks, and hydraulic engineering works for the implementation of the 1st construction phase of the rewetting of the Hündfelder Moor within the framework of the EU-LIFE project "CrossBorderBog – Rewetting of the Hündfelder Moor". The goal of the measure is the restoration of a near-natural water balance to ensure the long-term preservation and development of the moor ecosystem as well as the protection and promotion of moor-typical habitats and species. The tendered services include in particular the establishment and operation of the construction site including all necessary ancillary services, the construction and later removal of temporary transport and construction roads, extensive earth and soil moving works as well as the professional relocation, interim storage, and reinstallation of peat and other soil materials. Furthermore, dams and terrain modeling to regulate the water balance are to be constructed, as well as infiltration basins and other hydraulic engineering facilities according to the execution documents.
