TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is civil engineering, earthworks, and hydraulic engineering works for the implementation of the 1st construction phase of the rewetting of the Hündfelder Moor within the framework of the EU-LIFE project "CrossBorderBog – Rewetting of the Hündfelder Moor". The aim of the measure is to restore a near-natural water balance to ensure the long-term protection and development of the moor ecosystem as well as the protection and promotion of moor-typical habitats and species. The contracted services particularly include the establishment and operation of the construction site including all necessary ancillary services, the construction and subsequent dismantling of temporary transport and construction roads, extensive earth and soil movement works, as well as the professional relocation, interim storage, and reinstatement of peat and other soil materials. In addition, dams and terrain modifications are to be constructed to regulate the water balance, and infiltration basins and other hydraulic structures are to be installed according to the execution documents.
