TENDER DESCRIPTION

This tender includes full consultancy services regarding the design and implementation of the establishment of a new bypass road at Nørreballe on Route 9. The bypass road will be constructed as a motorway-type road with a speed of 90 km/h. The project is part of the political agreement on “Infrastrukturplan 2035”. The Act on Construction Works, L 176 Proposal for a law on the expansion of Route 9 at Nørreballe, was adopted at the 3rd reading on 3 June 2025. The purpose of the expansion of Route 9 at Nørreballe is to improve conditions in Nørreballe, including in particular with regard to noise, road safety, and local traffic handling. At the same time, the project must improve the flow of traffic on Route 9 for through traffic. The existing section is approximately 56 km long and currently consists of a two-lane country road, where, for the majority of the route, there is cycle path on both sides.
