TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the contract is the performance and exclusive exploitation of public scheduled interurban passenger road transport services, -as well as accompanied parcels of more than 10 kg or unaccompanied parcels- by buses in the Region of Peloponnese and specifically in the network depicted in ANNEX IV to the Tender Document through a concession agreement for public passenger transport services, in accordance with the provisions of Law 4974/2022 and in particular of Chapter E΄, as well as Regulation (EC) 1370/2007. More specifically, the subject matter of the contract is the “Grant of the right to exclusive exploitation of public scheduled interurban passenger transport services by bus in the Region of Peloponnese”, with an estimated value of EUR 325,000,000.00 plus VAT [i.e. EUR 32,500,000 per year for ten (10) years]. The estimated value of the contract amounts in total to EUR 325,000,000.00 excluding VAT at the rate of 13% (estimated value including VAT: EUR 367,250,000.00).
