TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Department of Oncology at AUH wishes to procure a 1.5T MRI scanner. The scanner must be usable for the following areas: Therapeutic MRI scanning of all diagnoses for which this is beneficial (Cerebrum, Head and neck, Pelvis, Extremities, Bone metastases) MRI scanning of patients for Brachytherapy MRI scanning of children under anaesthesia (primarily cerebrum) The practical workflow is of great importance for this scanner, as patients often require special positioning and the use of different fixation equipment. The scanner must therefore support an efficient patient pathway and, at the same time, deliver high image quality across the clinical applications.
