TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract being tendered, for the purpose of achieving a better operational outcome, is also being tendered as a “turn-key” contract (turn-key project), in the sense that the Contractor undertakes, within the framework of the detailed specifications and functional requirements of this contract, to deliver each of the twelve (12) train sets of six (6) vehicles of Series I, i.e. a total of seventy-two (72) vehicles, fully upgraded, with a service life (service life) of 25 years from the completion of the contract. In summary, the scope includes, in accordance with the terms of the entire set of contractual documents: A1) The preparation of the Study. A2) The upgrade, testing and commissioning of twelve (12) train sets, of the six (6) vehicles each, with a nominal operating voltage of 750Vdc. A3) The supply of the special tools, the diagnostic test equipment and the simulator, as defined in the Contract. A4) The three-year warranty of good operation of the train sets and the supply of the spare parts and consumables for the commissioning period, as well as the spare parts and consumables for the warranty period required for those periods.
