TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction measure in the north wing essentially includes extensive restructuring of the existing building, energy-efficient renovation of the building envelope, and technical and functional upgrading of the four-storey building part constructed in the 1980s, including adjustments to the façade and windows, the layouts, and the building services (electrical, room air technology, sanitation, heating/geothermal). The work is carried out within the existing building while maintaining ongoing clinic operations, and taking into account adjacent usage units not affected by the conversion (including, among others, doctors’ practices). As a result, special requirements arise in particular with regard to hygiene, fire protection, noise and vibration management, construction scheduling and user coordination, as well as safety and suicide prevention measures when dealing with a sensitive patient clientele. The construction project is funded with funds from the state of Lower Saxony. The contracting authority is Burghof-Klinik GmbH, Virchowstraße 5, 31737 Rinteln.
