TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction works in the north wing primarily include extensive restructuring measures within the existing building, the energy refurbishment of the building envelope, and the technical and functional upgrading of the four-storey building section erected in the 1980s, including adjustments to the façade and windows, the floor plans, and the building services equipment (electrical installations, air handling/room air technology, sanitary, heating/geothermal). The work is to be carried out within the existing building while keeping ongoing clinic operations in place and taking into account adjacent use units not affected by the conversion (including doctors’ practices). Particular requirements arise in particular with regard to hygiene, fire protection, noise and vibration management, construction schedule and user coordination, as well as safety and suicide prevention measures when dealing with a sensitive patient group. The construction project is funded with funds from the State of Lower Saxony. The contracting authority is Burghof-Klinik GmbH, Virchowstraße 5, 31737 Rinteln.
