TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction work in the north wing essentially includes extensive restructuring measures in the existing building, the energy-related refurbishment of the building envelope, and the technical and functional enhancement of the four-storey building section erected in the 1980s, including modifications to the façade and windows, the floor plans and the building services/technical building equipment (electrical, room air technology, sanitary, heating/geo-thermal energy). The work is to be carried out within the existing building while the clinic’s operations continue and are ongoing, and taking into account adjacent usage units not affected by the conversion (including doctors’ practices). The special requirements resulting from this relate in particular to hygiene, fire protection, noise and vibration management, construction scheduling and user coordination, as well as safety and suicide-prevention measures when dealing with a sensitive patient clientele. The construction project is funded by the State of Lower Saxony. The client is Burghof-Klinik GmbH, Virchowstraße 5, 31737 Rinteln.
