TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction measure in the North Wing essentially includes extensive restructuring work in the existing building, the energy-efficient renovation of the building envelope, and the technical and functional upgrading of the four-storey building section constructed in the 1980s, including modifications to the facade and windows, the floor plans, and the technical building services (electrical, air-conditioning/ventilation, sanitary, heating/geo-thermal). The work is to be carried out on-site while maintaining ongoing clinic operations, and taking into account adjacent use units not affected by the refurbishment (including doctors’ practices). Special requirements arise in particular with regard to hygiene, fire protection, noise and vibration management, construction scheduling and user coordination, as well as safety and suicide-prevention measures when dealing with a sensitive patient population. The construction project is funded with funds from the state of Lower Saxony. The contracting authority is Burghof-Klinik GmbH, Virchowstraße 5, 31737 Rinteln.
