TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public procurement is the “Provision of services for pre-treatment of waste with code 20 03 01 mixed municipal waste generated on the territory of the Municipality of Kaspiсhan” with an annual quantity of approximately 2,500 t (two thousand and five hundred tonnes) of waste with code 20 03 01 mixed municipal waste. The purpose of this public procurement is to comply with the requirements of national and European legislation for the treatment of mixed municipal waste generated on the territory of the Municipality of Kaspiсhan. By performing the service for pre-treatment of mixed municipal waste, the following will be achieved: • Achieving a higher level of waste management, in accordance with the hierarchy in the management of waste under Article 6(1) of the Waste Management Act (Zakon za upravlenie na otpadatsite, ZUO); • Fulfilment of the requirement for carrying out pre-treatment of municipal waste before landfilling; • Supporting the achievement of the targets at regional level under Article 31(1) of the ZUO within the deadlines for step-by-step achievement set out in § 15 of the Transitional and Final Provisions of the ZUO; • Reduction of the quantities of…
