TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the Office for Innovation and Central Services, the City of Duisburg will conclude a framework agreement for the delivery of FIDO2 sticks as part of an open procedure pursuant to GWB in conjunction with VgV. In the City of Duisburg, multi-factor authentication is used to secure online services. To provide an alternative to Microsoft Authenticator that is independent of a smartphone, hardware-based FIDO2 security tokens (sticks) are to be procured. The requirements are substantively aligned with the features of current, commercially available enterprise security keys of the device class, as they are designed for public administrations and KRITIS operators.
