TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Bogenhalle (arched-roof hall) building, which is under monument protection, was constructed in the years 1950-1955 as part of the new buildings of the State Sports School. The ensemble consists of three building components: - the sports hall, which is referred to as a Bogenhalle because of its typical arched segments - the gymnastics hall - the entrance building with the changing rooms. In 1977, the gymnastics hall was expanded by adding a simple annex made of a steel hall structure. In 1980, a so-called “Schnitzelgrube” (chipping pit) was added to the gymnastics hall, taking into account the historical materials: reinforced concrete and a sandstone façade. In 1989, at the entrance building, another hall made of a steel structure was added as a shooting range hall. The hall is used by shooters as a training room. With the exception of the annexes, the ensemble of the Bogenhalle has been preserved largely unchanged in its original condition and is under monument protection. The installations (changing rooms, wet rooms, heating, ventilation) are obsolete and must be urgently renewed.
