Renewal of the safety lighting system in Terminal 2, Munich Airport. Scope of the project: The measure comprises the complete renewal of the safety lighting system in Terminal 2 of Munich Airport. The work is carried out in three construction phases while the terminal is in operation. The existing safety lighting system must be kept fully operational until the respective VOB partial acceptance. Central battery systems: As part of the modernization, six existing central battery systems are dismantled and replaced by new safety lighting control centers, each with three battery strings. Substations: Approximately 151 substations are renewed and/or replaced. In addition, the required adaptation of the incoming power supply lines to the new system locations is carried out. Safety and emergency sign lights: The measure includes the replacement and/or addition of a total of approximately 11,000 safety luminaires and emergency sign lights.
