TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public procurement is the provision of a set of activities (services) related to ensuring the passability of municipal roads on the territory of the Municipality of Karnobat during the winter operating season of 2026-2027, removing or limiting the adverse effect of snow and ice on traffic conditions, with the aim of ensuring safe conditions for the movement of motor vehicles and a normal road-traffic situation under winter conditions. The main winter maintenance activities include: - protecting roads from snow by mowing grass areas, cutting back shrubs, removing materials and other objects within the road’s scope that lead to the formation of snowdrifts; - snow clearance (patrol and periodic) of the roads until reaching the corresponding grades and level of winter maintenance, clearing snowbanks, drifts and snow accumulations, and removing compacted snow-ice layers; - securing roads against slipping: spreading mineral materials and chemical substances.
