TENDER DESCRIPTION

The service to be awarded concerns the collection of bulky and other non-hazardous municipal solid waste that, in general, is disposed of together with bulky items (mainly wooden, plastic and metal objects), within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Thasos and that, pursuant to the applicable legislation, fall under the waste management obligations of the Municipality of Thasos: their transport and management at a suitable permitted facility or facilities for the years 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029. The collection of the waste by the contractor shall be carried out from the points to be indicated by the competent Department of Cleansing, Recycling & Vehicle Management, where the contractor shall install suitable temporary storage equipment (containers) for bulky and other non-hazardous municipal solid waste that, in general, is disposed of together with bulky items, of a minimum volume of 35 m3.
