Designation of engineering service: Planning for decommissioning of a 30 kV overhead line system in the former Greifenhain open-cast mine Award reference number: 2603500112 Execution period: 01.12.2026 to 31.12.2027 Place of performance: Germany, State of Brandenburg, Spree-Neiße district, area of the inside dump (Innenkippe) of the former Greifenhain open-cast mine, within a geotechnically defined restricted area Scope: The contract subject matter is the planning of the complete decommissioning of an approximately 3,900 m long 30 kV overhead line, including poles, conductor stringing (beseiling) and other associated plant components. The system was taken out of service in previous years because there was no longer any need for operation. The now several years-long shutdown has led to significant signs of deterioration with regard to corrosion and material fatigue, as well as an pronounced succession in the area of the overhead line system. Accordingly, the complete decommissioning is to be planned, including dismantling and scrapping of the entire system, with complete removal of pole foundations and other building structures that still exist.
