TENDER DESCRIPTION
We request a written quotation for performing bioindicator research in the Seinäjoki region in 2027. The study will be conducted in the Seinäjoki and Ilmajoki areas with a denser observation plot network, as well as in other municipalities of South Ostrobothnia with a sparse observation plot network. Bioindicator studies in the Seinäjoki area have previously been conducted in 1990 (Paavo Ristola Engineering Office), 1995 (Finnish Meteorological Institute), and in 2000 (Finnish Forest Research Institute). In 2006–2007, a bioindicator study was carried out across the entire area of the Western Finland Environmental Centre and was conducted by the University of Jyväskylä’s Environmental Research Centre. In 2012, the Seinäjoki region commissioned its own bioindicator study, which included a total of 95 pine observation plots, 41 moss sample plots, and 4 moss ball plots. Of the pine observation plots, 35 were located in other municipalities of South Ostrobothnia, and the remaining sample plots were located in the Seinäjoki and Ilmajoki areas, as in previous studies.
