TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this public procurement under Separate Lot No 1 "Post-warranty maintenance of virtual servers", includes provision of post-warranty software maintenance for 8 (eight) virtual servers running the SCO UNIX OpenServer 5 operating system with an installed application - the Integrated Regional Police System “IRPS” (АИС „Интегрирана Регионална Полицейска Система“ (ИРПС)), as well as maintenance of a database management system (DBMS) IBM Informix for the application, including: on-site support, telephone and email support, restoration of the servers for the application and the DBMS in extraordinary situations, troubleshooting problems related to errors in system operation, reinstallation where necessary, configuration, settings, optimization, expert consultations, software updates and checking of functionality. By implementing the specified activities, proper functioning of the virtual servers will be ensured, which in turn guarantees trouble-free execution of the daily tasks assigned to staff of the General Directorate "Border Police" and its territorial units.
