TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the qualification scheme is to establish a list of qualified Suppliers for work involving 30/50kV cable laying. Nexel has an ongoing need to procure establishment of 30/50kV cable systems, including determining the route and trenching the route, as well as pulling 30/50kV EL cables. In some cases, the supplier must also handle negotiations with landowners. All work must be carried out within Nexel’s supply area. Nexel’s (Cerius’ and Radius’) supply area is Zealand, Lolland and Falster, as well as the islands around Zealand. The scheme focuses on ensuring sufficient capacity to carry out the tasks, and on ensuring that companies with the appropriate competences have the opportunity to be admitted to the scheme. All tasks under the scheme will be related to the direct burial of 30/50kV EL cables. Admission to the qualification scheme does not mean that the company is guaranteed contracts with Nexel. Admission to the scheme means that the company may be invited to submit tenders for specific procurements.
