TENDER DESCRIPTION
In the MPV-50 project (Multi Purpose Vessels), two new vessels will be built and delivered, with the primary task of marking. In addition, the vessels will be used for incident response, measuring ecology, supplying platforms, and the coast guard has an option right to the two new vessels. The vessels will be equipped with a sustainable energy supply, based on dual fuel methanol engines and a battery pack. With the commissioning of these two new vessels, the three existing vessels Rotterdam, Terschelling and Frans Naerebout will be replaced. Under this contract, the contractor will design, build and deliver the vessels. See short description.
