TENDER DESCRIPTION

This project is specifically focused on the contract for the construction of the new west arch (contract 2). The main contract characteristics are; - This is an E&C contract; RWS provides a DO+ that our contractor must develop into a UO; - For the assembly, a construction site will be made available, being the Duivelseiland location; - This contract has interfaces with the other contracts for the Van Brienenoord Bridge and with the contract for realising the Circular Werf Duivelseiland (CWD), whereby RWS fulfils the integrator role; - Not included in the scope of this contract: transport of the new arch to the Van Brienenoord Bridge location; - By splitting the initial project into 4 contracts, this is a monodisciplinary contract with a limited risk profile.
