TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Landschaftsverband Rheinland intends to award the planning services for deconstruction (demolition) and remediation of hazardous substances for the existing Frida-Kahlo School at the Sankt Augustin site. With the purchase of the plot of land adjoining to the west, an replacement building for the 2.5-stream Frida-Kahlo School with the focus on physical and motor development (KME) for approximately 300 students is to be erected in likely two construction phases. The existing school building from 1973 at the site Arnold-Janssen-Str. 25a has been expanded several times due to the continuously increasing number of students (1974-76, 1988 and 2010). As part of the measure, the deconstruction is to be carried out in sections in coordination with the planning of the new building, likely in two phases. For this purpose, remediation of hazardous substances must be carried out in parts before demolition work can begin. The entire project must be implemented while operations are ongoing.
