TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Landschaftsverband Rheinland intends to award planning services for dismantling and remediation of hazardous substances for the existing Frida-Kahlo-Schule at the site in Sankt Augustin. Upon acquisition of the property located to the west, it is planned to construct, in probably two construction phases, a replacement building for the 2.5-stream Frida-Kahlo-Schule with the special focus on physical-motor development (KME) for approximately 300 students. The existing school building from 1973 at Arnold-Janssen-Str. 25a was expanded several times due to continuously increasing student numbers (1974-76, 1988 and 2010). As part of the measure, the dismantling is to be carried out in sections in coordination with the planning for the new building, likely in two sections. For this purpose, before demolition works in partial areas, remediation of hazardous substances must be carried out. The implementation of the entire project must take place during ongoing operations.
