TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the project is to further participate in the work of the committees relevant to nuclear safety within the Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. (DIN NA 062-07-43 AA), the European Committee for Standardization (CEN TC 430) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO TC 85 SC 6 with WG 3) for the development and further development of building-technology standards. Participation at the international level is necessary in order to keep track of the international state of science and technology and to contribute to the further development of international standards and guidelines. The project is intended to continue German participation in the rules and standards work for the expert fields mentioned above, thereby ensuring German involvement in the associated national and international committees. The Atomic Energy Act (AtG) requires that precautions be taken against damage caused by the construction and operation of nuclear facilities in accordance with the state of science and technology.
