TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the contract is the delivery of 5 brand-new, emission-free low-floor solo buses with fuel cell electric propulsion (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle - FCEV) in accordance with the specifications stated in Part C 01 of the tender documents (performance specification/technical requirements). The vehicles are to be configured as passenger transport vehicles (coaches) of vehicle class M3, class I, with left-hand drive. The energy carrier is gaseous hydrogen. The electrical energy required for driving is provided by a hydrogen fuel cell system. Vehicle propulsion is electric and includes an electrical energy storage system to support the fuel cell system as well as to capture recuperated energy. The intended use of the vehicles is predominantly scheduled public transport service in accordance with §§ 42, 43 PBefG or Article 2, 3 of Regulation (EC) No 1073/2009 in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
