TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the supply of 5 brand-new, zero-emission low-floor solo buses with fuel-cell electric drive (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle - FCEV) in accordance with the specifications stated in Part C 01 of the tender documents (performance specification/technical description). The vehicles are to be designed as passenger service vehicles of vehicle class M3, Class I, with left-hand drive. The energy source is gaseous hydrogen. The electrical energy required for operation is provided by a hydrogen fuel cell system. Vehicle propulsion is electric and includes an electrical energy storage device to support the fuel cell system and to capture recuperated energy. The intended use of the vehicles is predominantly for scheduled services in accordance with Sections 42 and 43 of the German Passenger Transport Act (PBefG) or Article 2 and 3 of Regulation (EC) No 1073/2009 in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
