TENDER DESCRIPTION

A new institute building is to be constructed for the Fraunhofer Institutes ISI and IOSB in Karlsruhe as part of a funding measure in accordance with RZBau, at Fraunhoferstraße 1 in 76131 Karlsruhe. The new building will serve as a workplace for 430 employees as well as around 150 student assistants. For this purpose, approximately 7,145 m² of usable floor area NF 1-6 is required, consisting of office, conference, seminar and workshop areas, a data center, as well as a large kitchen including ancillary rooms and a dining room with the corresponding infrastructure. For the office areas (approx. 5,300 m² NF), a new space concept (NEW WORK) is to be implemented, which also enables mid-term growth. As part of the construction measure, the newly installed ventilation systems, including fire protection fire dampers, are to be inspected by experts.
