It also involves collecting harmonized enterprise data using the SME Loop monitoring system, ensuring compatibility with the GIZ Data Warehouse structure, and developing business management training material (optional). Category 2: Implementation of a regional SME Loop Project

Category 3: Technical advice for the implementation of an SME Loop cycle

• Main tasks: Supporting the planning, implementation, and M&E of the coaching cycle with local Business Development Service (BDS) Providers. This involves conducting capacity development on the SME Loop methodology, supporting the selection of local BDS providers and entrepreneurs, and conducting training of trainers, coaches, and coaching of coaches. Other tasks include collecting, analyzing, and reporting monitoring data, facilitating access to finance and certification of SMEs, providing know-how and introduction to the collection of harmonized enterprise data (following the SME Loop monitoring system and ensuring compatibility with in-house GIZ Data Warehouse structure), and potentially developing business management training material (optional). Strengthening the local ecosystem through organizational development and capacity building for potential local BDS providers is also an optional task.
• Estimated Scope: Up to 45 days for one SME Loop Cycle.
