TENDER DESCRIPTION

HUS Kiinteistöt Oy is tendering for waste management services for hazardous and healthcare special waste from hospitals and other facilities located in the operating area of the HUS federation. The hospitals and other facilities of the HUS federation are mainly located in the areas of the cities of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Hyvinkää, Lohja, Porvoo and Raasepori, but operations also take place in other places on a smaller scale. The scope of the contract also includes Kiinteistö Oy Laakson sairaala (Laakso Hospital), the estimated purchasing volumes of which are low. The procurement of waste management services for hazardous and healthcare special waste includes, as an overall service, the collection, transport and treatment of waste. In the tender procedure, one (1) contract supplier is selected. The contract is valid for three (3) years, after which the contract continues until further notice. The quantity of services to be purchased during the contract period may vary. The contracting authority may specify the services and collection points to be ordered according to its needs.
