TENDER DESCRIPTION

HUS Kiinteistöt Oy is tendering for waste management services for hazardous waste and healthcare special waste for hospitals and other premises located in the operating area of the HUS Group. The hospitals and other premises of the HUS Group are located mainly in the areas of the cities of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Hyvinkää, Lohja, Porvoo and Raasepori, but operations also take place on other localities on a small scale. The scope of the agreement also includes Kiinteistö Oy Laakson sairaala (Laakso Hospital Property Ltd), whose estimated purchase volumes are low. The procurement of waste management services for hazardous waste and healthcare special waste includes waste collection, transportation and treatment as a total service. The tender selects one (1) contract supplier. The contract is valid for three (3) years, after which the contract continues for an indefinite period. The quantity of services to be purchased during the contract period may vary. The contracting authority may specify the services and collection points to be ordered according to its needs.
