TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this public contract is the preparation and delivery of the documentation part, the supply and subsequent implementation of the work “9342 – Reconstruction of sand filtration at the CHUV” at the Dukovany NPP in the form of a “turnkey” supply and the performance of all modifications necessarily required and their testing and commissioning on the affected equipment, structures and systems. The Contractor shall refurbish 6 existing sand filters and modify the associated technology, including replacement of the existing steel piping and pneumatic valves. Specifically, the Contractor shall dismantle and replace the internal filter media assemblies of the sand filters, refurbish the filter vessels, and replace the sand filtration medium with new filtration material that improves both the technical and economic parameters of the operation of the filtration equipment. The Contractor shall also replace the carbon steel piping outside the filter with plastic piping, including replacing the filter valve battery and installing new pressure measurement with both local and remote readout.
