TENDER DESCRIPTION
Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail (IÉ) is seeking to establish a contract for the design, supply, configuration, integration, commissioning, support and maintenance of a Station Services Mediation System (SSMS). The SSMS will provide the central processing, integration and management platform for real-time passenger information services across the Iarnród Éireann railway network. The system will interface with existing and future IÉ operational systems, including timetable systems, signalling systems, Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS), Long Line Public Address (LLPA) systems and external passenger information platforms. The solution will support the phased migration from IÉ's existing Customer Information Systems to the future Centralised Traffic Control and Communications Based Interlocking (CBI) environment while maintaining continuity of passenger information services throughout the transition.
