The total duration of the contract is set at 24 months, commencing from its signing and posting on KHMDS. This duration may be extended until the physical completion of the "BREATH" project, which includes any potential extensions granted by the Interreg VI-A Greece-Italy 2021-2027 program's Monitoring Committee, provided there is no increase in the contract's financial scope.

Key milestones and their submission deadlines, calculated from the contract's start date, are as follows:

• D3.1.1 Technical Reports:
• Identification of natural hazards: 4 months.
• Identification of impacts, focusing on coastal flooding and erosion: 8 months.
• Vulnerability Assessment Report and development of geospatial plans: 12 months.
• Identification of exposed elements: 15 months.
• Risk Assessment Report and priority setting plans: 18 months.
• D3.2.1 Report on best practices in civil protection management (for floods, fires, and coastal hazards): 20 months.
• D.3.3.1 Report on cross-border strategies and civil protection plans (for fires, floods, and tsunamis): 22 months.
• D4.3.4 Development of a Cross-border Data Management Platform: 24 months.
