TENDER DESCRIPTION

The state of Hesse and Justus-Liebig University Giessen intend to build a new institute building for the Department of Psychology on the Campus for Cultural and Social Sciences. The purpose of the negotiated procedure pursuant to Section 17 of the VgV is the award of project management services. A building with a gross floor area of approximately 4,000 m² with up to four full storeys without a basement is to be constructed for research and teaching. Staff members and researchers will, among other things, work and teach in physiopsychological laboratories and in particular also with large medical equipment (e.g., an MRI, EEG cabins). With the new build, the necessary prerequisites will be created for new research infrastructures as well as office space for 11 professorships and their diverse working groups. In total, approximately 100 researchers and technical/administrative personnel are to be employed in the new building. In addition, flexible workspaces will be provided for M.Sc./B.Sc. students in research-oriented study modules.
