TENDER DESCRIPTION

The State of Hesse and Justus Liebig University Giessen intend to construct a new institute building for the Faculty of Psychology on the campus of the Faculty of Cultural and Humanities Studies. The objective of the negotiated procedure pursuant to Section 17 of the VgV is to award project management services. A building with approximately 4,000 m² GFA and up to four full storeys without a basement is to be created for research and teaching. Employees and researchers will work and teach, among other things, in physiopsychical laboratories and in particular also with medical large-scale equipment (e.g. an MRI, EEG cabins). With the new construction, the necessary prerequisites for new research infrastructures as well as office space for 11 professorships and their various working groups will be created. In total, around 100 scientists and technical/administrative staff are intended to work in the new building. In addition, flexible workspaces for M.Sc./B.Sc. students will be created in research-oriented study modules.
