TENDER DESCRIPTION

Senate Properties is tendering the renewal of autoclaves in the premises of the Food Authority. The autoclaves located in the Food Authority's premises are technically at the end of their lifecycle, which is why Senate Properties has made a preliminary decision to renew 7 autoclaves of the Food Authority in the first phase. The agency wants to ensure the maintenance reliability of laboratory facilities by updating the autoclaves and their functionality. Activities in BSL-3 laboratories cannot be interrupted and arranging alternative premises is difficult, so when replacing the autoclaves, other required measures during downtime must be taken into account and the planning and implementation of equipment replacements must be done in close cooperation with the clients. There are two main types of autoclaves. The autoclaves of high-security laboratories (BSL3) are so-called destruction autoclaves used to treat and destroy biologically hazardous waste produced in the laboratory. With more conventional laboratory autoclaves, instruments are sterilized and culture media are prepared for laboratory use.
