TENDER DESCRIPTION

Roadway renewal on the A38 in the direction carriageway (RF) Göttingen (Gö): the route section from contract reference km 158+727 to 168+275. Within the construction section there are the interchange access points (AS) Merseburg Nord and Merseburg Süd, which are kept open to traffic alternately. Between the two AS lies the Geiseltal PWC facility. Within the construction section there are eight overpass structures (Ü-structure), seven structures as part of the Federal motorway (A-structure), of which one is an embankment-covered structure. The roadway will be renewed on a full-depth basis using concrete construction. The structure forecourts will be renewed using asphalt construction. At the AS Merseburg Süd the ramps will be renewed. For the A-structures, renewal measures are carried out, and for the Ü-structures maintenance/repair works are carried out. In addition, there are three cantilevered overhead sign support arms in the construction area, two of which are to be dismantled and replaced with regard to ground-mounted signposting.
