TENDER DESCRIPTION

AZ Groeninge is a large regional hospital in Kortrijk offering a wide range of medical care and specialized treatments. The hospital works with various medical and support services. There is currently a close collaboration between AZ Groeninge and Sint Jozefskliniek Izegem. At present, each of the two hospitals has its own warehouse. The scope of this procurement is new WMS software for the warehouse at AZ Groeninge. This warehouse currently uses SAP WM to manage its warehouse operations. As the support situation for this will change and end at the end of 2028, AZ Groeninge is looking for a new IT solution. This new solution must cover the same functionality as the current SAP WM. In addition to the warehouses in the hospitals, there are also 2 external warehouses (managed by 3PL parties) where pallet overflow is stored. The new WMS must also be able to operate with these external warehouses via a stock transfer function. This function may be handled pragmatically at a general location level, not at a detailed location level, where, depending on needs, certain pallets are requested.
