TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Province of Zeeland will start work on the development of a new bypass road on the south side of Oud-Vossemeer. This will be a new link in the N656 between Tholen (town) and Sint Philipsland. This will provide an impetus for road safety and traffic flow. The current through-route through Oud-Vossemeer is no longer adequate. With the bypass road, it will be quieter and safer in the village, and traffic can flow better outside the village. For the project, the Province has set the following three objectives: • Improving liveability and road safety in Oud-Vossemeer • Improving accessibility of the Klaverveld business park • Improving traffic flow of through (freight) traffic N656 See tendering guideline The Province of Zeeland will start work on the development of a new bypass road on the south side of Oud-Vossemeer.
