TENDER DESCRIPTION

This public contract concerns the conclusion of an agreement with a single contractor for the delivery, integration, maintenance and support of a cloud-based (SaaS) Enterprise Video Platform for the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). The platform is primarily intended for large-scale lecture capture, management, video editing, secure distribution and streaming of educational video content to students. The VUB currently has an Enterprise video platform that is deeply embedded in daily academic and educational activities. To ensure the continuity of education, to prevent loss of capital on existing hardware investments and to minimize the administrative and operational burden on the teaching staff, the VUB sets out in this specification strict technical and functional requirements in the areas of compatibility, migration and change management.
