TENDER DESCRIPTION

The training site of the Local Police Oostende currently consists of a firing range, 3 training domes, and a dog kennel. The contracting authority wishes to appoint a designer to design and carry out a new building on the existing training site. The current structure at this location has already been demolished. The new complex must be built within the following available areas: - Main building: 13.5 m x 32.5 m - Additional side area for a carport: 7 m x 32.5 m The building will be provided with 3 storeys: a ground floor and two upper floors, within the specified building zone and area. The designer investigates how these storeys can be organized as well as possible. The complex to be constructed must include different zones, tailored to the trainings that take place on the site: - GPI 48: zone accessible for all users of the site, including a canteen and meeting room; - GPI 81: zone accessible only for the 30 members of SAU (Special/ special assistance unit; further explanation in chapter «i»III.2.2 Zone THOR/ SAU team«-i»), consisting among other things of locker rooms, storage space and briefing space; - Office zone: 3 services are housed here (management, weapons service…
