TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Contracting Authority, Zorggroep Orion, intends to proceed with the appointment of a Design Team entrusted with a multidisciplinary study assignment for the design of an innovative residential care complex for people with dementia, to be realized in the vicinity of the completed Pioniers building located at the station of Turnhout (Vliegenier). This concerns a multidisciplinary overall study assignment regarding architecture, stability, techniques, acoustics, safety coordination, (care) garden landscaping and other studies with a view to designing an innovative new-built residential care concept for people with dementia, provisionally called the “Vliegenier”, and any associated functions such as kitchen, cafeteria and reception, as well as new functions and/or housing forms to support the intended continuum of care and to optimize the financial profitability of the site.
