The contracting authority intends to award the demolition, deconstruction and hazardous substance remediation works at the Mont-Cenis Comprehensive School in 44627 Herne. The Mont-Cenis Comprehensive School is a municipal comprehensive school in Herne-Sodingen. The comprehensive school consists of several buildings: a two-storey building from 1955 in the south, a sports hall from 1973 in the north, a two-storey dining hall (mensa) from 1974 in the west, a four-storey building from 1997 in the east and an extension to the mensa from 2013. The contracting authority intends to comprehensively renovate and refurbish the comprehensive school. The scope includes redesigning the building from the 1950s, the assembly hall and the aquarium, partial refurbishment of the building from the 1990s and the demolition of the building from the 1970s, which will be replaced by a new build with a kitchen and a mensa; the outdoor facilities will also be redesigned.
