The demolition work at the Irmela Wendt School in Lage Pottenhausen is being tendered. The school is an elementary school with a focus on special needs in the area of language. The existing building complex consists of the following structures: The existing building from the 1970s, ground floor plus an unfinished attic area (gable roof) plus basement, including the cellar, will be demolished. The extension building from 1989, ground floor with gable roof plus part-basement, will remain in place. The container modular structure from the 1980s, ground floor plus flat roof, with 2 classrooms and a group room, will be demolished.
