For the active ingredient Estradiol (ATC code: G03CA03), AOK Niedersachsen offers it. The health insurance fund for the period until the entry into force of exclusive agreements as a result of a formal procurement procedure in accordance with the provisions of Part 4 of the GWB offers all interested pharmaceutical companies discount agreements without any selection decision. The agreements are concluded within the scope of an “open-house model” and serve as a bridge between the start of generic competition (expiry of the patent) and the award of exclusive agreements. The agreements offered are non-exclusive; agreements with all market participants (pharmaceutical companies) are desired by AOK Niedersachsen. Under the open-house model, uniform conditions apply to all participants. Contract content, terms and conditions, and access procedures are uniform—individual negotiations are generally not conducted. The agreement terms are a maximum of twenty-four months; the earliest agreement start date is 01.12.2026.
