TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the central preliminary investigation of areas for offshore wind energy, in accordance with Section 10(1) of WindSeeG, geophysical surveys are to be carried out and documented as part of the preliminary investigation of the subsoil for relevant areas in the German EEZ of the North Sea. In the case of the services advertised here, this relates to areas within Zones 4 and 5 in accordance with the FEP (Area Development Plan for the German North and Baltic Seas, 30.01.2025). The overarching objective is to provide information to third parties, which, pursuant to Section 9(1) No. 1 of WindSeeG, is intended to enable a competitive determination of the bid in accordance with Section 51. The subject matter of the contract services for the geophysical investigation for subsoil pre-investigation includes recording a complete grid-based dataset using a sediment echosounder and high-resolution multi-channel seismics. This is followed by processing of the recorded datasets, their evaluation and documentation, as well as the identification of suitable locations for the subsequent geotechnical investigation in order to create a data basis for the later Geological Reports and/or…
