TENDER DESCRIPTION
The tender is conducted on a substance-related basis for the 116 expert lots listed below. Each active ingredient basically represents its own expert lot, unless special features are separately specified. For expert lots 1 to 107: Eight partial lots (regional lots) are formed for each expert lot in accordance with the detailed provisions in the tender documents. Bidders decide for which expert lot(s) and which regional lot(s) they want to submit discount offers. Offers can be submitted for one, several, or all expert and regional lots. The award is made per expert and regional lot. Depending on the expert lot and in accordance with the detailed provisions in the tender documents, discount contracts are concluded with one or - provided a sufficient number of eligible offers are available - with up to three pharmaceutical companies per combination of expert and regional lots. Pursuant to § 130a para. 8a SGB V, two identical expert lots (a so-called "EU-EWR lot" and a so-called "RM lot") are formed for the antibiotics or antibiotic combinations to be procured.
