Description of the service: The House of Photography (South Hall) in the Deichtorhallen Hamburg will be comprehensively renovated and rebuilt. As part of this measure, the below-ground service lines in the outdoor area around the Deichtorhallen will be comprehensively renovated. Key work: As part of the construction project, the conversion of the Deichtorhalle Süd that is protected as a historic monument, as well as the adjacent former market cellar, is to be carried out. The building extends over 2 storeys (ground floor and 1st floor) in addition to the basement level, which is to be expanded on the west side by parts of the old market cellar (last phase of use as an underground car park). In addition, the below-ground service lines in the outdoor area have been found to have damage during a camera inspection, which must be repaired. The damage can be remedied primarily by lining rehabilitation.
